Learn about my imaginary friend and "guardian angel"!

Hello, my name is Elisabeth! I'm 18 years old, in college (I guess) and working at a library. My dream is to move to Wisconsin, from Illinois. (It's a boring dream, I know.) This is my website. I've tried every social media platform under the sun, and did not like any of them. But I really like being online, specifically blogging, and archiving my art and photos. Fun fact... I don't have a smart phone! I use a Nokia flip phone and carry around an mp3 player for music. I'm coding this on my Chromebook that runs very slowly. I spend my days working, going online (watching YouTube mainly), playing 3DS games, and going on walks outside. I like to be outside most of all. My favorite seasons are spring and summer. I go camping a lot and it's my favorite thing to do, I think.

I am oftentimes in deep depressions that last years. I'm rarely truly happy, but when I am, I'm outside under a blue sky. I love the sky, and trees and forests. They're important to me, and mandatory to my health. When I'm in the city, or away from a woods to walk in, I'm even more depressed.
As a very young kid, I grew up in a rural part of Illinois. It was the best place I've ever lived, and the best time of my life by far. I was so happy back then. I'd walk with my dad to a small lake nearby all the time, and there were a lot of cattails there. We'd fish sometimes. I remember I caught my first fish and I remember it being huge and beautifully bright blue, but I don't think it really was. Then, one day, we had to move and we lived in Florida with my grandpa. I love my grandpa, we call him PawPaw for some reason. I loved to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with him in his room! I loved Florida too. Oh, and I was homeschooled for a lot of my life too. Until second grade, when we had to move again. We moved to Illinois, but to more of a suburban area. I stil live here. I don't like it at all, it's the worst place I've lived so far. I went to school at the same Lutheran school until 8th grade. I liked the school at the time, even tho I was lonely, and my mental health got really bad at the end of 8th grade (because of my parents divorcing and a relationship I was in at the time), so I didn't celebrate anything because I went to a hospital. Also, the COVID-19 pandemic had first started, so there was no celebration anyway. Then, when I went to a highschool nearby, and it sucked. I spent a majority of Freshman year on a computer at my house, because of COVID-19. When I eventually went in person, I did not enjoy it. I finally graduated earlier this year (2024), and I'm glad to be out of there. I still live in the same place, but I hope to move away soon, because Mama wants to stay here for her life. I'd like to move to Wisconsin, because we camp there a lot. Some family lives there too. I am anxious about where life will take me, but a part of me is still hopeful, even tho I mostly don't feel that way.

If I were an animal I'd be a grizzly bear, a beaver, or a bird (a tree swallow or a bar-tailed Godwit). I haven't decided on one yet!

My favorite video games: OK! So I'm a big fan of video games and have been for a super long time! My first game was (I think) the original Lego Star Wars. I played it on my dad's Xbox 360. My dad loves video games, and Star Wars, so naturally it was my first game. I played it when I was probably around 4 or 5! I also really loved Animal Crossing City Folk, which I played on my Wii every day for years! When I got my 2DS I loved to play Animal Crossing New Leaf... So I suppose I just love older Animal Crossing games. ^ ^ I don't like New Horizons AT ALL... It doesn't feel like Animal Crossing to me! Do better, Nintendo!!!! But anyway... I've played a ton of games (mostly Wii, 3DS+DS, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch games), but my all-time favorites are....

All of these games are so important to me! When I was younger, if a game was multiplayer (and most of these games are) my twin brother and dad would play with me. I liked to play Minecraft with them the most, and I'd challenge them to Pokemon (Alpha Sapphire+Omega Ruby+X/Y) battles a lot... I'd always beat them both, no matter how hard they trained! XD

I also love some movies! My favorite movie is The Truman Show, because it makes me think. I love the Lord Of The Rings movies too, and the books as well.

My general interests include: video games, journaling, digital camera photography, working on my website from time to time, creating comics, drawing, surfing the net, watching TV shows with mama (we love Iron Chef Japan right now), walking, and going camping during spring and summer months!

Update dor Nov/20/2024 - Hi, I'm working on my website again. My life has been rough lately. I haven't felt motivated to work on anything... but I want to get into the habit of regularly updating my website. For archive purposes! So... expect to see more updates... I hope!
Oh and, the introduction is a BIT outdated... I'll change it soon!
